Perfect time to become a doctor!

Friday, I successfully defended my dissertation, entitled “Variation and African American English: The Great Migration and Regional Differentiation.” I still have a fair amount of work to do before submitting the final document, but this is still a major milestone — even if it was via zoom in my in-laws’ basement. In the coming weeks, I will add posts about my findings.
